Precision drive shaft for engine lubrication systems
The oil pump shaft is the core drive shaft inside the engine oil pump assembly. Driven by the crankshaft through a transmission, it rotates the pump rotor or gears and delivers engine oil at a stable pressure to bearings, camshaft and cylinder walls - the critical part that keeps the engine lubricated and cooled.
The shaft body is precisely turned, cylindrically ground and machined with keyways and oil holes; coaxiality and dimensional tolerances of bearing journals and gear seats are tightly controlled. Mating surfaces are induction-hardened or quenched-and-tempered for wear resistance, fatigue strength and dimensional stability under high speed and load.
Alloy steel and ductile cast iron options are available, supporting keyed, gear-driven and splined drives for both gasoline and diesel engines, with OEM supply and aftermarket replacement service.
